Easy Up

Easy Up is the fast, easy, and secure way to install ceiling tiles. This concealed system, exclusive to Armstrong, provides greater dimensional stability and strength over wood furring strips.

Easy Up also carries a 30-year limited installation warranty when used with Armstrong products –, an advantage over adhesive systems.

Installation Steps –, Easy as 1-2-3

1. Attach metal tracks to ceiling joists.
2. Snap on clips.
3. Position tiles and slide in clips to secure.

With the Easy Up system, your new ceiling stays free of fingerprints and smudges, and there’,s no messy clean-up afterward.

Adhesive

To install mineral fiber tiles directly to existing drywall or plaster ceilings* with adhesive, use the recommended tile adhesive, such as Henry #237B Acoustical Adhesive.

Follow the adhesive manufacturers’, instructions for application and usage. Armstrong does not guarantee the performance of this or other adhesive products, either alone or in conjunction with Armstrong products.

Keep in mind that when using this direct apply option, the drywall or plaster ceiling must be smooth and even.

Metallaire™, Ceilings

Metallaire 2’, x 4’, panels are directly applied to an existing ceiling by overlapping panels and attaching them with traditional cone head nails in coordinating finishes.
