TEMPUR-Cloud Select

The TEMPUR-Cloud Select is the 10" basic model of the TEMPUR-Cloud Collection . which is briefly described by TEMPUR-Pedic as "Soft, with a thick comfort layer" and "Moderately-conforming TEMPUR Feel ™." At 95 lbs, it is also the lightest.

Beneath the white swirl super-stretch polyester cover is the 1.2" comfort layer, made of the signature TEMPUR-ES ™ material, developed from the Swedish Tempur Material which pioneered the production of memory foam mattresses. TEMPUR-ES is softer than other memory foams. giving a plusher feel to the mattress.

The next layer of the TEMPUR-Cloud Select is the 2.8" TEMPUR-HD support layer, made of a denser, more resilient version of the Tempurpedic TEMPUR material, to provide underlying support for the softer top layer. Combined with the TEMPUR-ES material, these two layers are intended to lightly conform to the user's body, to give the mattress a "tailored" feel. Also, a firmer second layer is to minimize motion transfer between sleepers, reducing disturbance of one person by the other.

The base layer of the TEMPUR-Cloud Select is TEMPUR-Pedic 's AirFlow system. The base foam is configured to enhance the flow of air. This is to cool the foam mattress, dissipating body heat, which tends to build up with the use of foam in mattresses.

The recommended base for the TEMPUR-Pedic TEMPUR-Cloud Select is a platform foundation naillessly constructed from ⅝," MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard), 9" or 5" high. It is also compatible with 2 Tempur-Pedic adjustable beds. the Ergo Basic and the Ergo Premier . Use of the MDF foundation or the Tempur-Ergo adjustable base is required for the 25-year limited warranty.

The TEMPUR-Pedic TEMPUR-Cloud Select is not only the lowest, lightest and most basic mattress of the Tempur-Cloud Collection. it is also the least expensive.
