State-of-the-art Brainmapping and Neurotherapy
Neurotherapy, or neurofeedback, is a type of biofeedback which uses realtime displays of electroencephalography (EEG) to illustrate brain activity and teach self-regulation.
Who can it help?
Neurotherapy can help to relieve common problems relating to anxiety, addiction, attention deficit disorder (ADHD), Autism/PDD, depression, chronic fatigue, headaches, sleep problems, chronic pain, brain injury, cognitive decline and many other ailments and problems.
How does it work?
EEG neurofeedback uses sensors that are placed on the scalp to measure brain waves. When the brain is not functioning optimally, this is often reflected in mental or physical problems. Restoring function to the brain by means of neurofeedback can alleviate a large variety of physical and emotional problems.
One of the technique’s great strengths is that it draws upon the brain’s own ability to self-regulate, learn and adapt. Neurofeedback therapy is absolutely non-invasive, and rather than trying to affect the body from outside, it helps the brain to deal with any problems at the foundation, drawing upon the brain’s own ability to learn and adapt.
When there are patterns within the brain that are not working correctly there will be corresponding problems. By using EEG technology and a device called Neurofield, which produces a very low intensity, pulsed electromagnetic field (pEMF), we are able to reduce stress and replenish energy allowing the patterns in the brain to realign, therefore changing the brain’s communication.
