Pass the ITIL V3 Foundation exam in six easy and (almost) free steps

Pass the ITIL V3 Foundation exam in six easy and (almost) free steps here's what I advise:
  1. A number of vendors offer online Foundation training courses for the same price as the exam, or less. You might as well go with them: ThoughtRock, MountainView. Google around for the best deal. Their training is effectively free.
  2. You might like to read the ITIL 2011 Foundation syllabus. Free.
  3. If you like learning by video, here's a 20 min video on ITIL 2011

ITIL 2007 vs 2011

The original ITIL V3 came out in 2007. A revision came out in 2011. All ITIL exams are against the 2011 syllabus and books.

I have a hunch the syllabus has changed less than the books have. Anyway, most 2007 study materials will still be useful.

You might also like Introduction To Real ITSM , my satirical book on ITSM. which includes a twisted ITSM exam. Folks seem to find it funny.
