1-3-2015 Newshound Guru OOTW We have so much to be thankful for, Agreement with the Kurdistan region, Abadi will soon be seeing that many, if not all of the ministries have new director's seated at each/respective helms, preparations for private sector reform, there's really too much positive, forward movement to list. I think we're in a good place - I agree with the thoughts of many that the GOI is doing all they can to try to address what's been needed to help Iraq. and quick like. This, IMHO, truly is the first time we've been in a very good place (since the new GOI was seated).

We copied and pasted the whole news release. then the ISX changed the wording 8 hours later. then the the article seemed to disappear. [doesn't that show they are wanting this to be as invisible as possible to the world. that is dang exciting in itself !] It's been a cat and mouse game.. Articles that are filled with contradiction of the previous and a very unclear monetary reform path being laid out for the citizens. Iraq seeks foreign investment and a market economy with international trade. These are educated economist in the CBI. uncertainty does not enhance visibility for investment. This cannot be a nuetral currency event, I am convinced! [post 2 of 2]

There was a news release on the ISX website that said "renovation of payment system " on the 7th and 8th and the ISX would delay opening on the 7th to the 11th. and it mentioned the CBI and the Board of Directors who ORDERED the delay. THAT IS BIG NEWS because the status quo of the payment system is changing. The Kurds have their ESX waiting to OPEN SINCE SEPTEMBER. Barzani said the Kurds would not open the ESX operating under the 3 zeros. So forget the HCL. Forget the Budget...It is the 11th of January when the market opens that the answers will be known. 1-3-2015 Intel Guru TNT Tony Right now NCL [HCL?] and the budget have both been done. The Amnesty Law has nothing to do with the RV, but. The US is saying they want. the amnesty law. Iraq is putting on the pressure right now. They have gone through Christmas and the New Year, they are losing credibility. Iraq is saying they will get this done by Sunday, and the US is saying that it might get done by the next week. [How and who can make this happen ?] The rate change itself is written into the budget, and will be activated with that.
