I ordered, received, and promptly returned this item.
You can't go wrong with this classic design, and given that this brand was apparently ",made in Italy",, I was willing to pay a bit more than for a Chinese knock-off.
But, after in-person observation, I suspect the only thing that happened in Italy was that maybe some metal tubing pieces were bolted together there. And that's something anybody who can bolt together IKEA furniture could do: not exactly a high-skill task.
Otherwise, I doubt there's any difference between this brand and any other low-end Chinese knock-off brand. But this one costs an extra $200+.
What really irritated me as misleading marketing is the supposed ",extra strong Italian leather",: it is actually just some very thin bonded leather material that appears to have minimal if any actual genuine leather content. It seems to be essentially vinyl, though the actual contents are not listed anywhere. But it is not genuine leather, that's for sure. It is clearly a synthetic product.
Save yourself some money and buy a version of this chair that does not use a seemingly bogus ",made in Italy", marketing ploys. I truly doubt this brand's version of this chair is any different from other cheap-but-more-honestly labeled Chinese knock-offs. except in terms of its excessive pricing.
