Maytag neptune washer repair

Symptom: Your Neptune won’t spin and the door locked light doesn’t come on and spouse is unhappy because the laundry is really piling up fast!

Did you know the Maytag Neptune washing machines have a small wax motor mechanism that locks the door just before the spin cycle? When this device eventually fails it will also damage your upper control board, at which time, a repair service will then ask you for between $375 and $475 to repair your machine?

Note: The wax motors with the brown actuator pin is the old design that will eventually fail.
