This tutorial is not a substitute for training, but rather provides a high level overview of the application, process and technology.  The PeopleSoft Finacials Application covers a very broad range of products from Financials through Supply Chain to  Manufacturing. The Financials module covers the accounting and financial information including  Accounts Payable and Receivable. The Supply Chain module covers the ordering of your products,  storage, distribution and delivery. The manufacturing modules are where you build, cost and engineer all of your products.

PeopleSoft financial management applications can help organizations of all sizes, industries, and geographies increase efficiency, reduce back-office costs, and optimize cash flow. It is made up of several core modules:

PeopleSoft General Ledger –, General Ledger is the core financial application controlling your accounting system from generating your accounting structure to maintaining and reporting your financial performance. This module also includes a lot of inquiry pages and reports.

  • PeopleSoft Account Payables –, The Payables module covers all of your account payable needs, from receiving the invoice to calculating the optimal payment for your cash flow needs.
