Cons: when it fails. only reset to factory works

" Purchased to replace an older Astak model, so was not expecting a great deal for the price.
Product was a pain to set up. the user interface was not meant for humans and I am a Systems Administrator.
Navigation on the console/unit is an exercise in extreme frustration and circa 1983 as far as ease of use is concerned.
Web navigation is not much better, but somewhat workable when the unit is not in one of it's continuous rebooting modes.
The cameras are ok, but switch to b/w infrared mode frequently on cloudy days.
Image quality is poor even on the best recording setting.
The updated version of the iPhone app is better than version 1, but still needs much work and only shows up to four channels at a time.
Very disappointed with the product, but waited too long to return to the store. I dread calling customer service for the rebooting issue, but have no choices at this point. "
