NordicTrack is the top selling treadmill brand in the world. If you are old enough you probably remember when the NordicTrack brand of fitness equipment emerged with their infomercial of the skier machine. It really made NordicTrack a household name. But by the mid-90’,s, NordicTrack’,s growth had slowed and in spite of releasing several different fitness products, it was clear they weren’,t going to make it.
Shortly after, Icon Health &, Fitness came in and bought the NordicTrack brand. Through their guidance, it has emerged once again as a leading name in fitness. They have the celebrity endorsement of trainer Jillian Michaels. They sell more treadmills than anyone. They also have a successful line of elliptical trainers. In short, they sell a lot of stuff.
Their treadmills are really some of the best around. The features you get for the price you pay is really astounding. Years ago the quality of NordicTrack treadmills was a bit suspect. But now they are very durable, very reliable and come with an excellent warranty. Just be warned- if you see a used NordicTrack machine that was built before 2008 or so, don’,t go for it. But if you are looking to buy a new treadmill, NordicTrack just may be your best option.
Not only do they come with great motors for the price, but their new machines are all iFit compatible and boast color touch screen web browsers. The treadmill I use at home is a NordicTrack so that probably says it all right there. The only concern is that their customer service doesn’,t often earn high marks, but when you are the biggest fitness brand in the world, it’,s hard to please everyone.
You can buy their treadmills online at www.NordicTrack.com or find them at any number of fitness retailers like Dick’,s or Sears. You can check out my NordicTrack reviews below. These are all of their current models as well as some past models in case you are looking at a used machine and need more info.
