Build Your Chimney Vent System

Build Your Chimney Vent System How To Build Your System

Typically, your system begins with either Single Wall or Double Wall Black Stove Pipe from the stove or furnace.

Single Wall Stove Pipe allows more heat produced by the furnace to radiate into the home- increasing the heat output efficiency of the appliance. Single Wall Stove Pipe also requires more clearance (the space between walls, fixtures or furniture.) Double Wall Stove Pipe is used in those instances where your heating appliance is installed within 18 inches of a wall or fixture.

As the venting system travels to the outside or to a second story of the home, you will transition to Chimney Pipe (Class A.). Use a ceiling support box, or single wall adapter to transition from your stove pipe to chimney pipe.

PLEASE NOTE. You must use Stove and Chimney pipe components from the same manufacturer! The connection type for each of the featured brands is specific to that Brand, and will not properly interchange with another manufacturer.
