U Prepaid Phone Steps to Activate your U-Prepaid Phone

1. Go to Alltel Activation to get started.
2. Tell us which phone you have.
   Important: Use the materials provided with your packaging. The Activation Quick Step Guide provides detailed instructions. The most important piece of information is the Electronic Serial Number (ESN) or Mobile Equipment Identifier (MEID), which identifies your phone. Locate the number on a sticker under your battery on the back of your phone.

Consult your Activation Quick Step Guide for an example of which number to use. Write down your ESN or MEID number so you have it available to enter during the activation process. Go ahead and put your phone back together so you&rsquo,ll be ready for your test call.

Set up your account. Your prepaid account requires a name, address, and contact information to complete activation.

Pick your phone number.

You'll be able to choose a wireless phone number local to the zip code you provided for your service area.
