Kevin and Ben did the move for us, and it was excellent. They were helpful, and Kevin worked like crazy. Nothing was damaged. For the value (check into what other movers charge and the hidden charges and you',ll see) they are first rate. The whining complaints about them not answering their phones may be true, but if so, it is because they are truly busy helping people move at cut rate pricing. I recommend them without reservation.
Expert? I don',t think so. In hindsight, I',ve learned that this business is rated F with Better Business Bureau. I picked these movers from an ad on Groupon (*by the way, their Groupon ad is still up, which has a defective link to Facebook and a defective ",Company Website", link. big red flags).
I guess it depends on who you get as movers.
After reading reviews I called and scheduled my move and purchased groupon. Movers did not have proper tools to break down my sons bed and ended up stripping the nails and taking a very long time to do so. I moved on June 6th.
While in the beginning they were moving quickly 30 minutes in I think they felt like they were moving too quickly and the pace slowed down tremendously. I accounted for the drive time which is why I purchased the 3 hour groupon. They went over by almost an hour due to one mover honestly just walking around my apartment aimlessly and taking smoke breaks.
A co-worker purchased her at the same time I did mine and moved last week and was charged a $90 fuel fee from Duncanville to Desoto appx 10-15 miles I was charged $65 from Irving to Grand Prairie appx 25-30 miles that doesn',t seem appropriate to me.
They asked for a tip before they even moved any items. I was greatly disappointed. I plan to contact the BBB and advised my co-worker to file a complaint as well. I am not ok with feeling that the movers took exceptionally long on purpose. After all was said and done I paid almost $400 for my move.
After going to file complaint BBB gives the business a rating of an F. Be cautious users and hopfully you get the luck of the draw and get the efficient movers.
