The company that we now know of as &ldquo,Wildwood Lamps and Accents&rdquo, started in 1900 as a retail furniture store in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. And, interestingly, it also had an undertaking and embalming parlor, a practice that was quite common for furniture stores in the South at that time. In the early 1960's the owner's grandson became manager of the store. During this time, the company put greater attention to making and selling table lamps. Later that decade, &ldquo,Wildwood Lamps and Accents&rdquo, was launched.
In the early years, Wildwood focused on providing classically-inspired lamps from European and Asian masterpieces. By the 1980's, Wildwood expanded their line of products to include other decorative accessories for the home such as mirrors and wall dé,cor, floor screens, and various pieces of accent furniture. And in the early 1990's, chandeliers became an important part of the collection. Toward the end of the 1990's, Wildwood began on offering a wider type of lighting products that were more casual and less expensive.
Frederick Cooper - Began designing innovative lamps during the 1920's with the objective of creating lighting products of &ldquo, unmatched quality&rdquo,. These fine lamps have been featured in the White House, embassies, and luxury resorts around the world. Tommy Bahama - Lamps feature a wide array of materials and styles that add a great splash of island-inspired charm. Chelsea House - Believes that quality and hand-craftsmanship are of utmost importance. They are grounded in classic design, but also take inspiration from contemporary living.
