Joseph Abboud suits don't make the man but they sure can help him look good.
The company's philosophy is that quality and personal style come from the man and not the clothes.
This may be true but the designer does add some nice qualities of his own.
This company has only been around for about 20 years and has already established itself as a strong brand in over 4 countries.
Joseph Abboud suits are American made suits crafted in Massachussets. They currently have four distinct styles that they are marketing.
These styles consist of the Signature Silver, Feather Light, Profile, and the Hudson.
The Hudson has high armholes and wide lapels while the Profile has naturally sloping shoulders and a modern look to it.
Feather Light models are unlined and made to look more casual. Signature Silver models are more classic in their look and feel and are what most would prefer to wear to work.
As you can see, the brand has worked to appeal to a wide customer base and has something for everyone.
High end wool and cashmere are the materials of choice. Interestingly enough, the company has managed to keep his prices down below $700.00 on most of his suits.
Look for traditional shades of black, blue, gray, and even tan. Pinstripes and windowpanes in multitudes of hues can be added for a little more flare.
When shopping for these suits, keep in mind that some of their lines are fused while some are canvassed. However, I've noticed the descriptions in most stores do not say what each suit is.
This means that if you're concerned, you'll need to shoot the company an email, or go to the store in person. A good fused suit should cost you much less than a good canvassed one.
Overall, this suit is a good all around suit and can be found at very reasonable prices.
