Tractor & Lawn Mower Review

John Deere X320

The John Deere X320 is a part of the JD X300 series that includes the John Deere X324 and John Deere X360 lawn mowers. But this article is only going to focus on the JD X320 garden tractor lawn mower. It is powered by a Kawasaki V Twin, gasoline engine. It’,s 2 cylinder engine has a displacement of 0.7 liters and is air cooled. It’,s produces 22 hp which is is transferred to it’,s wheels via a K58 automatic transmission meaning that the X320 has no gears which allows it to be operated more easily than previous models. Going forward, it has a top speed of 5.8 mph and when it’,s reversing it has a top speed of 3.5 mph. It’,s fuel tank can hold can hold a maximum of 13.2 liters (3.5 US gallons) of gasoline.

Thanks to it’,s 2WD chassis, the John Deere X320 has a turning radius of just 0.4 m (1.3 feet) making it very agile in small gardens even though it’,s 1.82 m (72 inches) long and 0.97 m (38.5 inches) wide. This is it’,s width without a mower deck attached and this will increase substantially depending on the mowing deck that is attached. The operating weight of the tractor is 248 kg (548 lbs). This is without a mowing deck attached.

The John Deere X320 tractor lawnmower comes with 3 hitching points, one is obviously the rear hitch, but the other 2 are the deck and the fender. Due to the fact that the JD X320 uses the CargO Mount attachment system at all these points, it allows for a massive array of attachments to be used with the ride on mower, which makes it truly versatile around the garden. Attachments include utility carts, tractor shovels, front blades, mid mounted blades, cultivators, harrow discs, snow blowers, snow blades, sprayers and soil aerators.
